Chesapeake Conservation Corps (CCC) is an AmeriCorps program that provides service-learning opportunities and green job training for young adults through environmental and energy conservation projects. This initiative provides hands-on environmental, leadership, and technical training opportunities for a one-year term of service. The CCC Member will generate education and outreach that mobilizes volunteers to improve the Chesapeake Bay Watershed by reducing environmental impacts. Programs assisted by the CCC Member include the Greenbelt Forest Stewardship Project, storm water mitigation, zero waste events, among many other community engagement and environmental restoration projects.
