EU Resorts celebrate World Clean-up Day

For the fourth year in a row, European resorts organized activities to celebrate World Clean-up Day 2022, collecting over 417 kg of cans, cigarette butts and plastic waste.

Sustainability Ambassadors shared some relevant facts about the importance of recycling and carried out a quiz to test the participants knowledge.

Overall, the day was celebrated by 257 participants, out of which 79% were Team Members, and 21% Owners and Guests.

This year, six resorts did not use any rubbish plastic bags, and instead tried more sustainable alternatives such as carboard boxes, buckets or cloth bags.
