Team Members Across the Globe Take Action on World Clean Up Day

Team Members from across HGV took action towards a cleaner world on September 17, by volunteering at local clean up initiatives in honor of World Clean Up Day. International Team Members from the Canary Islands, the UK, and across Europe worked together to pick up trash and recyclables on beaches.

Back in the US, teams from coast-to-coast – from California and Florida – gathered to pick up trash big and small. In Southern California Team Members from Riviera Beach & Shores Resort took action to keep their beach beautiful. On the East Coast, Team Members from Embarc Sandestin spent their morning volunteering at the International Coastal Cleanup at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, FL.

For the team at Kohl's Ranch Lodge in Arizona, Andre Newell and his team spent the day on the banks of Tonto Creek to collect debris left after a busy summer of campers and monsoons. The creek is at an elevation of 7,400', flows through the property year-round, and provides water to the Phoenix Metropolitan area 100 miles away.
